About myself
A Business Analyst for Glitnir, a Nordic bank specializing on the niche markets food/ seafood, sustainable energy and offshore supply vessels, I am working in Business Origination for the Sustainable/ Renewable Energy Team of the bank. My role is defined by a lot of work on research, presentations, business development in Eastern Europe, Germany and the European Union, while focusing on geothermal energy. Hence the interest for "Presentations" and "Research".
To make a long story short, I am German and live in Reykjavik/ Iceland. I have a law degree from the University of Konstanz in Germany, and have done additional studies at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario/ Canada and at the University of Ottawa, Ontario/ Canada. Legally, I have a particular interest in issues surrounding Computer Law, Internet & E-Commerce, International Financial Law and Regulations, as well as International Private Law/ Law of Conflicts. I have a Masters Degree in E-Commerce (in parts comparable to an MBA IT) from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia/ Canada, with a specialization in Project Management, Database Management Systems and Entrepreneurship.
I am married and we have two kids, who keeps us busy with their unbelievable energy and curiosity. Some people say I am an Internet junkie and a geek, with my latest toy being an MacBook Pro, but I know worse. ;-)

A list of blogs I read can be found via the menu above and under "Resources", but in the course of the next few weeks I hope to post more blogs I read on a more or less regular basis sorted by subject/ topic.
